The Timpson Group who own Max Spielmann, a network of over 582 stores across the UK including photo centres in Tesco stores, were looking for a long term partner to help them roll out their ambitious digital strategy over the next two years. The first project was multi-phased and the first phase was to transition the Max Photo site onto a new Wordpress platform, whilst leaving all the existing integrations in place. The main aim being to facilite quick and easy front end content changes.
We have now transitioned https://www.maxphoto.co.uk/ into the Groups Magento Platform. It froms 1 of the 121 websites being driven by this global product sales solution. We are delighted to say that at the end of the first months trading on the new website hits where up by 47% and sales where up by 107% over the same period last year. This is a testament to the platform and most importantly, the collaborative approach from Affinity and the Timpson group to ensure we de-risked the transition and optimized the benefits of the new platform from a AI, UX and SEO perspective.
